What are Mutual Support Groups?
Support groups provide a unique and valuable service for those committed to long−term recovery from drugs and alcohol. However, support groups are not a substitute for medical assistance or counselling from a trained therapist. Support groups are run by peers, typically at no or little cost to participants.
