Canada Eating Disorder Addiction Treatment
Canadian Centre on Substance Abuse Library (CCSA) focuses on Canadian addiction information, notably illicit drugs, licit drugs, alcohol, gambling. International addiction publications are also included in the collection where subjects such as epidemiology, evaluation, and best practices are discussed. While all types of publications are selected, emphasis is placed on "grey literature" or other documents not typically indexed in the major commercial databases such as Medline, and Social SciSearch.
Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP) is a US federal program that works with States and communities to develop comprehensive prevention systems that create healthy communities. This includes supportive work and school environments, drug- and crime-free neighborhoods, and positive connections with friends and family
Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is Canada's largest health sciences centre devoted to mental illness and addiction. Affiliated with the University of Toronto.
Health Canada Treatment & Rehabilitation Publications
National Clearing House for Drug and Alcohol Information (NCADI) is a service of the US Department of Health and Human Services. An excellent site for information on drugs and alcohol specifically designed for families, youth, schools and the workplace.
National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) conducts and support research on drug abuse and addiction. US National Institutes of Health. Has detailed information on alcohol and other drugs of abuse.
Out of the Shadows at Last is the May 2006 Senate Committee on transforming mental health, mental illness and addiction services in Canada.

Addictive Drug Information Council (ADIC)
Provides information about the harmful effects of addictive drugs in order to inform policy makers and raise public awareness.

Alcohol Policy Network (APOLNET) is a network of over 1000 individuals and organizations across Ontario concerned about the impact of alcohol on our friends, families and communities.
The City of Hamiton
works with individuals, groups and agencies in the community to develop programs and initiatives that not only aim to reduce the use and abuse of alcohol and drugs, but also work towards minimizing the harms associated with drug use. These programs support the community at large as well as schools, workplaces and health-care settings.
Council on Drug Abuse (CODA) is a charitable, non-profit organization that sponsors preventive alcohol and other drug education programs in schools for students, teachers and parents. Funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health Promotion.
Elgin St. Thomas Health Unit has information on drug education, impaired driving and parent resources.
Focus Resource Centre supports the training, consultation, networking, and information/dissemination needs of 22 FOCUS Community Programs across Ontario. FOCUS Community Programs provide drug and alcohol abuse prevention programming in their communities. Focus also has a comprehensive database of nearly 500 Ontario substance abuse prevention programs .
Middlesex-London Health Unit has substance abuse prevention resources.
Ontario Drug Awareness Project increases the awareness of the effects of alcohol and other drugs in communities throughout Ontario by encouraging and supporting the initiatives and programs of Drug Awareness Committees (DACs).
Ontario Physical and Health Education Association (OPHEA) has a program called Take Action which is designed to support educators and engage school communities in teaching safety awareness regarding medicines and harmful substances and provides information about tobacco, alcohol and substance use through the integration of health and physical education expectations.
The Parent Action on Drugs (PAD) mission is to address issues of substance use among youth through outreach, prevention, education, and parent support. PAD enhances the capacity of parents, youth and communities to promote an environment that encourages youth to make informed choices.
Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health Unit offers information on topics related to substance use prevention. As well, specific programs, presentations and displays on this topic are developed to suit the needs of identified populations, including schools and community events.

National Database of FASD and Substance Use During Pregnancy Resources
