Medical services in this directory treat the physical aspects of alcohol and drug misuse or addiction. Programs can include primary care, withdrawal management (detox), addiction medicine, medical monitoring and harm reduction programs such as methadone maintenance.

Telehealth Ontario is a free, confidential telephone service you can call to get health advice or general health information from a Registered Nurse. The service provides round-the-clock access, to a qualified health professional. It can help you decide whether to care for yourself, make an appointment with your doctor, go to a clinic, contact a community service or go to a hospital emergency room. It is a service available to anyone over the age of 16 who is intoxicated, in withdrawal or in a crisis due to the use of alcohol and/or other mood altering substances. We attempt to assist our clients in managing withdrawal in a safe, caring, non-threatening, and empathetic environment.
