Note: This is a 35 day, 20 bed holistic gender-separate program for youth 13 - 17. Clients must be referred and sober prior to admission. Youth have the opportunity to participate in Native Spirituality programming. There is an on-site school. Program is funded by the North West LHIN.
Note: This is a community-based, non-medical program for youth ages 12 - 19. Program length is 1 - 90 days. Clients can self-refer and are not required to be sober prior to admission; non-medical detox is available. Program offers education, harm reduction, and relapse prevention. Stabilization component of program can involve returning to school, searching for work, attending support group meetings, connecting with a Youth Alcohol and Drug Counsellor. There are no fees for this service.

Note: This program provides access to safe house beds in the Kamloops area to youth 13 - 24 who require residential support while receiving outpatient addiction treatment services. Program length is up to 6 weeks. Clients must be sober prior to admission. Clients must be referred from Interior Health, the MCFD, Youth Probation, Delegated First Nations Agencies, First Nations Bands, Addiction Counsellors and Mental Health Professionals. Program offers outpatient counselling through Mental Health, Addictions Services, Aboriginal Health, or Child and Youth Mental Health to establish healthier lifestyles. Funded by Interior Health.

Note: This is a 20 bed second-stage program for men 19+. Average stay is 1 year. Clients can self-refer and must be sober prior to admission. Clients must have completed primary treatment, and are expected to be employed, looking for work, or attending school, and also attend 4 12-Step meetings per week. A Better Place Transition Housing is a registered per diem facility with MSD. Fees may apply; please call for more information.
Note: This is a holistic program for adults 18+. Program length is 28 - 90 days. Pregnant woman are able secure a treatment bed immediately upon application. Clients must be referred and 5 days sober prior to admission. Methadone and CSC clients are accepted. Action North’s rate for room and board is $40.00 per day for Alberta residents. Clients who qualify receive funding through Alberta Works.

Note: This is a 25 bed program for adults 18+. Clients can stay up to 14 days in order to withdraw from substances and begin to learn about recovery. Clients can self-refer. Clients have access to ongoing programming and 24 hour counselling support. Counsellors assist in goal setting and treatment planning.
Note: This is an 21 day, 18 bed CBT and harm reduction-based program for men 21+. Clients must be 72 hours sober prior to admission. Clients must be referred by an addiction referral agent who has conducted a standardized assessment with the client. Client are required to have confirmed accommodations and confirmed return travel arrangements following completion of the residential program.
Note: ARI offers 14 beds in 2 post-treatment homes for men 18+ who have completed a primary treatment program. Program length is 3 - 12 months, although a longer stay can be arranged. Clients must be sober prior to admission. Clients are expected to be employed, looking for work, or attending school after a period of time, and to attend in-house and community 12-Step meetings.
Note: This is a program for adults 18+. Clients can self-refer and must be 5 days sober prior to admission. Program offers gender-specific programs, Aboriginal-based programs, and tobacco cessation. Smoking is not allowed. Ladner’s Treatment Centre’s rate for room and board is $40.00 per day for Alberta residents, and $125.00 per day for out-of-province residents. Clients who qualify receive funding through Alberta Works.
