Note: This is a 10 bed (5 beds for homeless women and 5 beds for women from Corrections Canada) barrier-free program and emergency shelter for Aboriginal women in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. Clients can self-refer. CSC clients are accepted. Program offers culturally appropriate healing including Pipe Ceremonies, smudging, cleansing, Sweat Lodge, drum/rattle making, and arts.

Clients must attend a minimum of 6 Counselling sessions with an Alcohol and Drug Counsellor or Referral Worker prior to attending treatment. Carrier Sekani Family Services’ Addictions Recovery Programs are funded by Health Canada’s First Nations and Inuit Branch, NNADAP. All services are free for CSFS members.
