Note: This is a 14 bed co-ed program for adults 18+. Program length is 42 days. Clients must be 7 days sober from drugs and alcohol and 14 days sober from benzodiazepines prior to admission. Clients must be referred. CSC clients are accepted. Clients must attend a minimum of 4 counselling sessions prior to applying to residential treatment. Program offers a trauma-informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and traditional First Nations cultural practices. Fees may apply; please call for more information. Note: Nenqayni Wellness Centre Society offers 2 programs. There are 5 family units (16 beds) available in a 8 week The Family Drug and Alcohol Program for parents and children. There are 10 youth beds available in a 4 month Youth and Family Inhalant Program. Clients must be a 14 days sober prior to admission, and it is recommended that participants in the Family Program have 30 days sober prior to admission. Clients must be referred. Program offers cultural activities such as daily smudging, sweats, arts, and drumming and singing. Nenqayni Wellness Centre is federally funded and is a NNADA treatment facility. Persons who have Indian Status are covered for services.
