Note: Poundmaker’s Lodge offers a 42 day program for adults 18+. Clients must be 3 days sober prior to admission. Clients can self-refer, but a professional referral is preferred. Stabilized methadone clients are accepted on a case-by-case basis. Program offers traditional smudging and sweat lodges along-side classroom style education sessions and group therapy. Poundmaker’s Lodge’s rate for room and board is $40.00 per day for Alberta residents, $125.00 per day for out-of-province residents, and $250.00 per day for non-Canadian residents. Financial support may be obtained through CFSA, HRE, AISH, Employers, Employee Assistance Programs, First Nations funding and individuals. Clients who qualify receive funding through Alberta Works. Note: This is a 90 day treatment program for adults 18 - 24. Priority is given to pregnant women. Clients must be 3 days sober prior to admission. Clients must be referred. Program offers traditional smudging and sweat lodges. Recreation includes camping trips, nature hikes, canoeing, zip-lines and cultural camps. The 90 Day Young Adult Treatment Program is free for all clients who are Alberta residents.
