Note: This program provides access to safe house beds in the Kamloops area to youth 13 - 24 who require residential support while receiving outpatient addiction treatment services. Program length is up to 6 weeks. Clients must be sober prior to admission. Clients must be referred from Interior Health, the MCFD, Youth Probation, Delegated First Nations Agencies, First Nations Bands, Addiction Counsellors and Mental Health Professionals. Program offers outpatient counselling through Mental Health, Addictions Services, Aboriginal Health, or Child and Youth Mental Health to establish healthier lifestyles. Funded by Interior Health.

Clients must have completed primary treatment, and are expected to be employed, looking for work, or attending school, and also attend 4 12-Step meetings per week. Clients must be referred and 5 days sober prior to admission. Methadone and CSC clients are accepted. Action North’s rate for room and board is $40.00 per day for Alberta residents. Note: This is a 25 bed program for adults 18+. Clients can stay up to 14 days in order to withdraw from substances and begin to learn about recovery. Clients can self-refer. Clients have access to ongoing programming and 24 hour counselling support. Counsellors assist in goal setting and treatment planning.

Note: This is an 21 day, 18 bed CBT and harm reduction-based program for men 21+. Clients must be 72 hours sober prior to admission. Clients must be referred by an addiction referral agent who has conducted a standardized assessment with the client. Client are required to have confirmed accommodations and confirmed return travel arrangements following completion of the residential program.

Note: ARI offers 14 beds in 2 post-treatment homes for men 18+ who have completed a primary treatment program. Program length is 3 - 12 months, although a longer stay can be arranged. Clients must be sober prior to admission. Clients are expected to be employed, looking for work, or attending school after a period of time, and to attend in-house and community 12-Step meetings.
