Note: This is a 12 bed second-stage program for adults 18+ who have completed primary treatment prior to admission. A limited number of funded beds for clients who recieve Employment and Income Assistance benefits are available. Program length is 60 - 78 days. Clients must be 28 days sober to enter the 60 day program, or 10 days sober to enter the 78 day program. Clients can self-refer. Partial funding is received from the Manitoba government. Note: This is a long term therapeutic community program for adults, teens, and families. Preference is given to pregnant women and persons awaiting release from detoxification facilities. Program length is open-ended; clients stay for a minimum of 4 - 6 months, but can stay a year or more. Clients must be sober prior to admission. Clients can self-refer or be referred. CSC clients are accepted. Program focuses on both substance use and mental health issues, and offers Aboriginal traditional programming. BHF provides services through funding agreements with government departments for residents of Manitoba who cannot pay for the service. Residents with a source of income (employment, employment insurance, pension or disability benefits, etc.) pay a monthly rate for room and board. Out-of-province residents are required to pay per diem rates; please call for more information.
