Fredericton is the capital of New Brunswick. The city is situated in the west-central portion of the province along the Saint John River, which flows west to east as it bisects the city. It is the third-largest city in the province after Saint John and Moncton.
A map of the Fredericton Regional Health Authority shows municipalities with the region, which extends east from the Quebec border and is situated between the Upper River Valley and Saint John Health Authority regions.
