Newfoundland and Labrador is Canada’s most easterly province. It is bordered by Quebec and the Atlantic Ocean. While Newfoundland borders Quebec, Labrador is an entirely separate island in the Gulf of Saint Lawrence. Over 500,000 residents live in Newfoundland and Labrador.
